I am playing with adding beads to embroidery--I ordered a beading book--but for now am just giving it a shot without any technique. Heres my first foray....I will try colored material next time so that the white doesn't show through where the beads don't meet up exactly...

Although the water was pretty cold it was finally warm enough outside to go in the pool....MOstly I did it to play with the dog....When I go in he comes out and swims around me in a circle---its so cute! We have fun splashing in the pool too!

trying to get a straight row is difficult--I found this site which is pretty good for some methods-what stitches do you use? How do you get a nice even row??

very pretty! I like working with beads with my cross stitch.

I'm envious of your pool, at this time of year I am so tired of the cold, rainy weather and am dreaming of the it's warm enough to go swimming, sigh!
