Last Sunday in CA we went to Portview/Middleharbor Park near the Port of Oakland which offers a great view the of San Francisco skyline. My brother was almost hauled away by the immigration authorities while we were there.





Afterwards we ate at Lukas taproom and lounge (http://www.lukasoakland.com/) where we sampled Belgian beers -
I had Delerium Tremens which came in a brandy snifter type glass with pink elephants all over it! We also had the West Grand Plateau - oysters, mussels, prawns, clams & dungeness crab and classic Belgian-Style Fries which came with various dipping sauces. If you are near downtown Oakland I highly recommend this place. The also have music nightly.
